As a professional photographer, it might sound like a dream to have too much work! It’s not a career that is easy for you to start out in, and if you build up enough of a reputation to be in demand with clients, this is a highly desirable position to be in. However, you also need to be realistic about what you can handle and whether you can take on a high workload.
If you want to work particular seasons, like wedding season in the summer, make sure you clear your schedule first. If you know that you have enough time, you can then begin to schedule in jobs as and when they arise. Make sure you always keep a diary of exactly what you are going to be working on, whether it is digitally or on paper. Give timescales as well, so you can see your work commitments at a glance.
