A lot gets said about photo editing today, but it really is essential. Because software has improved, so too has the images that are out there today, and theimages that have not been enhanced can come across as  relatively amateur.

Of course a good photographer can always take good photographs without photo editing software, but to really be able to make money out of photography it’s an absolute must. People will naturally edit their photographs, it’s a common stage of photography as it is today.

To become a portrait photographer or a wedding photographer people will want special care and attention paid to their photos. They may want blemishes removed, distractions taken out of a shot, colour added; perhaps they want an image changed to black and white. Photo editing is not just an art, it’s imperative to all photographers.
